The Presentation of Jesus

HAPPY FEAST DAY!!!!
Today, 40 days after Jesus was born, we celebrate the day Mary and Joseph present their new baby boy, the Savior of the world and the Word Incarnate to the Lord in the temple. "They took him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord" Luke 2:22. Like Mary and Joseph, let us acknowledge what Christ has given to us, and in turn present everything back to him. Our Father in heaven wants us to recognize that He is the giver of all gifts and to give thanks to Him by offering Him those gifts for his service. Jesus wants everything, your joys, your sorrows, your accomplishments, your burdens, presnt them to the Lord, and then like Simeon we can say, "My eyes have seen your salvation" Luke 2:30.
